After reviewing seven sets of teaching materials of Chinese as a foreign language, there are three problems in the textbook of Chinese as a foreign language:simple interpretation;few grammatical points, lack of systematicness and less comparison and analysis;less practice of comparison. In order to solve the problem, comparison of Semantic and Syntactic Differences between “jiu” and “zhi”, “jiu” means limited quantity, limited degree and limited scope, partial speaking and subjective ; “zhi” means limited quantity, limited degree, limited scope, limited state, partial written and objective. And combined with the error rate of foreign students : The overall value of “jiu” is lower than “zhi”, of which “jiu” is the lowest. It is suggested that “jiu1” and “zhi1” knowledge points should be set in the primary stage of the textbook. System of interpretative analysis should be set in the intermediate stage . Advanced stage setting limited adverb class discrimination and fixed collocation of special training.
